Croatia Boat Show 2012


The just opened 21st Zagreb Boat Show in  Zagreb exhibited expensive yacht worth 164 438 euros from the French manufacturer, is the company's booth Euromarine. Exposed vessel is still before the fair, bought by customer from Croatian, while four more such previously purchased the same party.


Due to the high excise duty or excise tax in the last three years, sales of vessels was reduced by 90 percent, according to the Association of nautical sectors of the Croatian Employers' Association, which are at the fair held a press conference. He adds that most of the exhibition because the vessel was sold before the fair, and because there is no new customers. The fair presents almost all the small Croatian shipbuilders. Yet there are also prime, and that the speedboats Atlantic and Big Foot, while the boat Four Winns S-215 was crowned "European Motor Boat of the Year 2012."

On Boat Show organizers say that the occupation is equal to last year, performing 290 exhibitors from 27 countries in four fair pavilion. Years of membership in the International Fair Association Boat Show, is a confirmation of that as an organizer, despite the global recession and a number of problems in the domestic boating market, successfully adapting to new situations, said Milan Trbojevic, the new head of the Zagreb Fair, Zagreb Holding Subsidiaries.

Opening the Boat Show Assistant Minister of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure, Captain Nicholas Mendrila said among other things to be happy that nautical tourism is growing despite the recession, and thus demonstrates that this type of tourism the most stable and promising Croatian tourist product. Show that the data from last year, he added, when the Croatian Adriatic visited about 60,000 foreign yachts and boats, an increase of 3% from a year earlier, on which was around 322,000 sailors, or 5% more than 2010 year.

In Croatia, the charter company has recorded a steady growth and guests rented boats and yachts. Thus, in the Croatian ports of nautical tourism in the last year visited 340 641 charter guests, an increase of 4.5% from a year earlier. Mendrila further recalls that in 1855 Croatia registered yachts and 125 000 thousands of boats, which proves that Croatia is a true country of nautical tourism.
